Cattron Wins the 26th Annual Don Godfrey Shootout

Tournament director Jay Cattron and the Buhl Club were thrilled to present the 26th Annual Don Godfrey Shootout in Sharon, PA, featuring small ball singles and doubles.

Men’s Open Singles

Tournament director Jay Cattron was too strong for third-generation Ohio handballer Sam Sottosanti iii, dropping SS in two games to win the Godfrey. 

Final: Cattron def Sottosanti iii 21-13, 21-14

“We were excited to host the 26th Annual Don Godfrey Shootout at the Buhl Community Recreation Center in Sharon, PA,” exclaimed Cattron. “These are fast courts are plaster walls with full glass back wall for amazing viewing. The hospitality was second to none. The tournament was amazing. We had the most players we have had in eight years.”
