The WPH has officially wrapped up the Regular Season of handball for 2022/23.  With the Salt Lake City post season looming, you can now view the final rankings before the big Player’s Championship May 5th-7th, In Salt Lake City.

A quick summary:

Luis Cordova (57.5) and Martin Mulkerrins (51.0) still hold the #1 and #2 spots, respectively, with the 45-year-old Dave Fink sitting firmly at 34 points and a #3 ranking.  Leo Canales (#4) could have gained valuable points in Pittsburgh and potentially closed the gap with Fink, but his camp elected to sit this top out.  Canales’ current 30.5 points pose the biggest threat to Dave Fink’s bid to finish the season in the top 3.  Max Langmack (#8) is now a point-and-a-half from moving up to the 7-hole, as Shorty Ruiz (#7) did not attend the RFC.  Ruiz has 21.0 points; while, Langmack and his Pittsburgh finals appearance have him at 19.5 points on the season. Daniel Cordova, who also missed Pittsburgh, seemingly had an opportunity to move up the ranks; his 26.1 points earns him #5 in the rankings–just ahead of Killian Carroll (25.3) at #6.

Newly Crowned Oregon State Singles Champ, Kyle English, broke into the top 15 with his RFC results this past weekend.

Who will win the Race-for-Eight?  It all comes down to Salt Lake City, Utah in two weeks!

The Men’s Senior Rankings finds a familiar face atop the ladder with Dave Fink remaining at #1, post RFC.  Bill Mehilos stands firmly at #2; meanwhile, Kyle English bolts into the top 3 with his performance in Pittsburgh this past weekend.

Although the women did not play this past weekend, their final regular season rankings are posted here:
