69th Annual USHA National Junior 4-Wall Championships: Brule and Cordova Storm the Desert

Tucson, AZ, WPH Press, 12/30/25

The United States Handball Association were proud to present the 2025 USHA National Junior 4-Wall Championships at the Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club in Tucson, AZ on the final weekend of 2025

The crown jewel of junior handball featured junior players from Arizona, California, New Mexico, Colorado, Illinois, Alaska, Nevada, and Mexico competing in junior small ball and big ball singles and doubles brackets.

Race 4 Eight pro Ayden Brule dominated the 19-and-under small ball singles and doubles, in addition to the 19-and-under big ball singles, pushing his national title total somewhere north of twenty. “There were some decent players in the tournament, mostly good big ballers,” Brule would later say.

Luis Cordova iii continued the Cordova dynasty in the 13-and-under, winning all three of his matches, including a dramatic 11-6 tiebreaker in his final match to secure the 13-and-under small ball singles title. “Luis played better than I’ve ever seen him play,” beamed his proud dad, current Race 4 Eight Player’s Cup champion, Lucho Cordova. “He was seeing the ball well and hitting it harder.”

Thank you to the USHA for a great event and to all of the junior players for competing during the three-day event.
