The United States Handball Association proudly presented the 72nd USHA Three Wall National Championships at the Lucas County Rec Center in Maumee, OH, featuring 213 handball players from across North America.

See the results from the open brackets below. Thank you to the USHA for a great event and continuing the always anticipated annual tradition at the Lucas County Rec Center every Labor Day Weekend.

Men’s Open Singles

Sean Lenning dominated the Men’s Open Singles, collecting his record-extending fourteenth Men’s Open Singles title without dropping a game in his three matches. Lenning avenged his 2023 KCAC 3-Wall loss to Lucho Cordova in the final, dropping the R48 #1 in two games. “Sean was too good in the final,” stated R48 and Icebreaker pro Jab Bike. “Luis didn’t have his serve early and it cost him. I feel like there were chances for runs when Sean was tired. Sean played well but not as good as he did in the semis.”

Ruiz def Esser 21-12, 21-11

Cordova def Mehilos 21-4, 21-8

Women’s Open Singles

Megan Dorneker stunned defending women’s champion Dr. Ashley Ruiz in the upper bracket semifinals, returning to the form that saw her dominate the USHA Three Wall National Championships for more than a decade. Dorneker would face women’s outdoor powerhouse Danielle Daskalakis in the final, with Daskalakis defeating current Clarkbreaker women’s champion Mikaila Esser in two games in the bottom bracket semifinals, earning revenge from her Women’s Classic loss to Esser earlier this year.

Daskalakis was too strong for Dorneker in the final, overwhelming the Chicago percentage handball legend in two games with power hop serves and fly kills.

Quarterfinals

Ruiz def Camacho 21-1, 21-2

Dorneker def Ng 21-14, 12-21, 11-5
