The Alten Handball Foundation is proud to again sponsor the Oregon State Doubles Handball Championships, Powered by WPH.

The 2026 Oregon State Doubles Championships is hosted by the Eugene Handball Association and will be played at the Downtown Athletic Club in Eugene, Oregon.

All major divisions will be offered – Men’s Open and A/B/C skill levels, as well as Women’s and Masters divisions. Non-player entries are available for those would like to enjoy the hospitality and camaraderie. Out-of-state players are also welcome to participate.

The 2026 Oregon State Doubles Championships are expecting an increased turnout this year. To ensure your team is included, please enter early.

The Alten Handball Foundation will be subsidizing entry fees for this tournament.  All full-time students and players under 21 will play for free (use coupon code ALTEN). Entries for all others are $25 for the first event and $10 for the second event.  Participants will enjoy full hospitality, including Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast/lunch/dinner, and Sunday breakfast/leftovers, with beer served daily.  

The Junior/Novice division will be on Saturday morning only. It will include instruction, as well as modified play with special rules (i.e., double or triple bounce)

DV: David Vincent formed the World Players of Handball in 2005 and ushered live handball viewing into our living rooms for the first time. Since its inception, the World Players of Handball has broadcast over 1,500 matches live. Dave Vincent serves as the lead play-by-play announcer for virtually all matches, combining his unique perspective and personality with a lifetime of handball experience. DV brings 25 years of broadcast radio experience (in Oregon and California) to World Players of Handball & ESPN broadcasts and provides professionalism and wit to the amazing game of handball. DV also serves as the Executive Director of the World Player of Handball at the WPH headquarters in Tucson, AZ, working daily to grow the game of handball through innovation.
