Tournament director Rich Goosmann and the Ohio Handball Association are proud to present the 2026 Mid-America Regional 4-Wall Championships & R48 Pre Qualifier at the Bowling Green State University Student Rec Center. The 2026 Mid-America Regional 4-Wall Championships will feature men’s, women’s, and junior small ball 4-wall singles and doubles brackets. 

The Men’s Open Singles at the 2026 Mid-America Regionals will serve as the Mid America’s R48 Pre Qualifier. 

“The WPH is excited to partner with the 2026 Mid-America Regionals and tournament Mid-America Regionals director Rich Goosmann in presenting the R48 Pre Qualifier,” stated the WPH’s David Fink. “The Men’s Open Singles winner at the 2026 Mid-America Regionals will be the R48 Pre Qualifier champion, earning a travel stipend and entry into one of the remaining three stops on the 2025/26 Race 4 Eight season

“Please mark your calendars now and save the dates,” stated tournament director Goosmann. “We are planning a great tournament. Hope to see you there.”

Dave Vincent serves as the lead play-by-play announcer for virtually all matches, combining his unique perspective and personality with a lifetime of handball experience. DV brings 25 years of broadcast radio experience (in Oregon and California) to World Players of Handball & ESPN broadcasts and provides professionalism and wit to the amazing game of handball. DV also serves as the Executive Director of the World Player of Handball at the WPH headquarters in Tucson, AZ, working daily to grow the game of handball through innovation.
