2025 Eastern Regional 3-Wall Handball Tournament Finishes Up

The Maryland Handball Association proudly hosted the 2025 Eastern Regional 3-Wall Handball Tournament on the second weekend of August at the Centennial Park 3-Wall courts in Columbia, MD. 

Open Singles

Tournament director Carter Kounovsky won the Open Singles at the 3-Wall Eastern Regionals, surviving multiple match points in the tiebreaker against former junior and current masters star Carlos Chavez. “Kounovsky held on in the deciding frame to take the title by the narrowest margin, as both players had multiple serves on match point,” Kounovsky would later say.

Semifinals

Kounovsky def Kaplan 21-9, 21-9 

Final: Kounovsky def C. Chavez 21-10, 9-21, 11-10
