2019 USHA/ICHA Junior Big Blue & Adult Singles Championships

Manhattan, NY, WPH Press, 8/18/19- The USHA and ICHA teamed to host the 2019 USHA/ICHA Junior Big Blue & Adult Singles Championships, featuring 134 junior and adult Big Blue stars competing in Manhattan’s Central Park.

“For the last several years the USHA/ICHA Junior Big Blue & Adult Singles Championships has been growing,” stated 1-Wall handball donor and ambassador Jared Vale. “We are really excited about the turnout” this year! The USHA and ICHA are committed to continued collaboration to growing the junior events and ensuring their longevity!”

The Boy’s 19-and-under singles featured 19 players from New York’s boroughs. Kenneth Kim survived a close match in the quarterfinals against Cesar Ayala and overcame Jefferson Xu in the final.

The Girl’s 19-and under singles featured eight New York City stars, with Shnae Cummings defeating Cathy Chen in the final to clinch the title.

David Velez captured the 11-player Men’s Open Singles, defeating Lemwhir Valette in the final. Ronald Beard cruised in the 35+ singles, defeating Jack Safos in the final.
