’17 Women’s Outdoor Stop at the RFC 9

Pittsburgh, PA, WPH Press, 6/1/17- The World Players of Handball is thrilled to announce the WPH’s RFC 9 in Pittsburgh, PA will serve as an official Women’s Outdoor stop on the 2017 season on July 8-9, featuring a cross-over format similar to the 2016 Marina Park X-Fest and the 2015 Venice X-Fest. WPH Women Outdoor stars will compete in 1-Wall small ball singles and 1-Wall big ball singles to determine the overall RFC WPH Outdoor Women’s Champion and provide the women’s outdoor stars with valuable WPH Outdoor Cup points in the Race 2 Vegas.

“We could not be more excited to feature the best women’s outdoor cross-over stars in the world at the WPH RFC 9,” stated RFC tournament director David Fink. “The first WPH RFC in 2009 featured the top six women’s players in the U.S., and we cannot wait to welcome the top women’s players back to Pittsburgh in 2017. With WR48 #1 Catriona Casey, current USHA 3-Wall National Champion Hilary Rushe, and former WR48 #2 Jessica Gawley already committed, expect some incredible matches this July.”
