The WPH’s RFC 6 Turkey Bowl

The WPH is proud to present the Thanksgiving edition of the Rodney Fink Classic 6, November 29th-30th in the City of Bridges, Pittsburgh, PA. The WPH’s east coast home, Amerifit Handball Club, will play host to several of the game’s greatest players battling in the RFC’s Turkey Bowl. The Rodney Fink Classic has hosted nearly all of the current greats in men’s and women’s handball since its inception in 2009 and this edition will be no exception, as top American and Irish stars will be in attendance. The RFC 6 boasts two of the top six R48 stars on the R48 IV Race points standings, as well as top Canadian talent.

“After a one year RFC break, the RFC has returned with two installments in 2014,” declared tournament director David Fink. “We are fortunate to have rising star Stephen Cooney competing in his second RFC this year. Cooney has established himself as a top contender on the R48 tour this season, rising all the way to sixth on the R48 IV points list with wins over Fink, Jon Iglesias, Anthony Selestow, and Vic Perez.”

The RFC is a No-Entry fee event for current WPH members, as RFC participants will be asked to make a donation to Junior WPH to support the growth of the game. The RFC could start late in the evening on Saturday, November 29th or early in the morning on Sunday, November 30th. Enjoy your turkey and head to Pittsburgh and the famed Amerifit Handball Club for a great weekend of handball!
