Coach Morgan Named JR WPH Collegiate Coach of the Year

Tucson, AZ, WPH Press, 3/20/16- The World Players of Handball and JR WPH were thrilled to honor the University of West Florida Argonaut’s Handball Team Founder Michael Morgan as the 2016 JR WPH Collegiate Coach of the Year. Coach Morgan started the UWF Handball Team in 2012 and quickly established one of the premiere collegiate handball programs in the country. Coach Morgan leads freshman orientation handball classes for all incoming UWF students, weekly practices for the UWF Handball Team, several UWF campus tournaments per year, travels to various handball tournaments across the country each year with the UWF handball team and organizes the UWF handball team trip to the USHA Collegiate Nationals every September.

“Coach Morgan is one of handball’s greatest promoters and coaches,” stated WPH Development Director David Fink, “The energy, passion and expertise Coach Morgan possesses for the UWF program is unsurpassed by any coach in the country and the WPH is incredibly proud to support Coach Morgan and the UWF Team.”

Thank you to Coach Morgan for being an incredible ambassador and role model to hundreds of new collegiate handball players each year. Look for UWF to continue to make huge strides each year on the collegiate and national handball scene.
